As a coach, we know that you serve and impact the lives and futures of many youth and young adults in need.

Many of the young people you coach have the talent and potential to reach the next level, but their families may not be able to afford everything required to get them there.

You see their talent, believe in their potential, and are not willing to let them miss out on opportunities simply because their families cannot afford them. So what do many coaches do? They reach into their own pockets, often spending money they may not have, to make sure the young people they coach have the opportunity to succeed.

By joining our Elite Coaches Club, you will be eligible for monthly stipends that can help lessen the financial burden you have been carrying for so long.

Eligible members may receive up to $5,000 per month in stipends. Individual stipend amounts may vary and are determined by qualifications, eligibility, program participation, and applicable program requirements.

Michigan coaches and athletic program leaders who work with youth, school, recreational, community, or college-age athletic programs are encouraged to apply. Final membership eligibility is determined through the application and review process.

No. The program is intended for coaches and athletic program leaders in a variety of leadership roles. Your experience, responsibilities, program, and community involvement will be considered during the application review.

The application accepts programs serving participants from early childhood through college age. You will be asked to select the age groups represented in your program when you apply.
The 30-minute introductory orientation provides an overview of Champions 4 Health, membership opportunities, participation expectations, and potential next steps. Applicants may select a group session—in person or by Zoom—or a one-on-one session with a recruiter.
